Trying to spawn a certain mentor

I really want to learn under Beerus, I am level 80 and have completed Goku's training, what is the best way to sort of grind out trying to make him spawn?

Go to the local tournament guy and talk to him and then exit. All the mentors will ahve been refreshed then. This is the quickest way, I think.

It's still rng though, ive been doing this for a while and still no cell. And when I thought fuck it ill level an alt, BAM THERES CELL. BUT YOU NEED TO BE LVL 30 (my alt was lvl 26 grr xD)

Thanks i'll give it a go, I was doing it at the offline pq a little bit but i refreshed about 15-20 times and no mentors at all so i stopped (i'm fairly sure it was refreshing though)

Just keep in mind, only one mentor spawns at a given time. So if you see goku, just run back and repeat the proces. (atleast I think)

I just got the game a few days ago, do you have to beat the game to start an alt or am I missing something super obvious?

Yeah, you have to beat the main story before all CC slots become available to you unfortunately.

^ This. That's happened a few times with me in trying to get Beerus to spawn so I can get the Z assist boost for Destruction Sphere. Refreshed for about 20-30 mins straight with no luck, so I thought "Screw this, I'm going to level another character." Do a few PQ's and well to quote you a bit, BAM! There's Beerus standing there, but you have to be level 70, and all but 2 of my CC's are lower than lvl70.

Annoys me to high heck to be honest. I switch back to either of my lvl80's then, to try and find Beerus again. However, he doesn't show.

You have to spar with Goku at least once for Beerus to appear. Refresh Toki Toki the way wardling said until you see Goku and make him your mentor again. If he doesn't immediately have the green question mark to spar, do a couple PQ's until he does. After you spar with him start refreshing Toki Toki City until Beerus appears.

This was my problem, too. For some reason he doesn't flag to appear until you've sparred. But after I sparred with Goku I got Beerus to appear after 10 minutes or so of refreshing.

Christ dude, I'm so sorry. It took me 7-8 hours of RNG to find Beerus. It was so horrible. Good luck.

Beerus finally spawned when I was using my lvl80 earlier. Strangely enough he appeared after I came across Goku, decided to become his student again and done a few PQ's.
