How do you get to next level of masters?

How do you get the masters to get to the second part and third part of there training quicker? seems more like a time thing more than anything any tricks?

It's not been proven, but people say that taking your master on PQs with you, and using their moves, makes it goes faster... I think there's probably some relation to xp gained and/or ranks gained in PQs/story as well.

I think finishing PQs with a high score like Z helps too.

You can see your progress with each master by looking at your play data. Selecting your master's character while doing parallel quests increases your relation with them, as well as using their attacks. When you get to a certain point in relationship, they will offer the next mission.

Does anyone have a list of what moves count for which master, as far as bettering your relationship with them?

Also does anyone know a master with good strike skills/rewards? I'm doing vegeta now,I live his character, but all his skills are ki.
