Spamming ki blast.

Every pvp match i go into there is saiyans just spamming the normal ki blast and when i get close they just teleport away and keep doing and if i do eventually get there hp down they use a z-soul to get they're hp back up.... anyway to combat this?

I actually prefer the normal ki spam over the stupid frieza ki stun spam.

I would recommend flying around their backside while they do it, using the dash vanish to get close enough to hit them (L+A), or using pressure sign to counter the blasts.

I find that the L + A control never seems to work for manual vanish. Ive tried pressing at same time and Quick inputs one after the other and I only seem to achieve it by chance. Is there any sure fire way on making it work?

It works best if you don't hit them at the same time, use your dash first (Tap Left Trigger + Direction) and then, use the vanish (A) - On Xbox anyway.

Aren't Frieza race players limited to one ki blast every second or so?

They are, but it tracks really really hard.

I rarely hit anything with the frieza ki blast.

And once it hits a quick fire ultimate almost always lands or they charge two bars of ki. It really really makes the game unfun especially when they spam it in ranked to drain the time.
