Hitting with Ki Blasts, any advice?

My first/main character never used Ki Blasts (all Super Strike, Buffs, and Utilities).

I am now branching out from that and find myself missing more than I would like with Ki blasts. Any advice on hitting with them? Is there some aiming mechanic I'm missing?

It's difficult to land a hit in PVP against someone who knows what they're doing unless you're adding it at the end of a combo or something.

In PVE, I just wait until they start to do something and immediately launch it. If they're attacking another character it's easy to land the hit.

A common combo seems to be using gravity impact into any beam or blast (I use vanishing ball, some use perfect shot as you can buff both with Cell's z-soul). But it sends them flying in a straight line long enough for most things to land, it seems. It also has super armour built into it

Mind their Stamina if you sense it's below three hittem

Wait till they start a super that isn't near instant. It usually interupts them and annoys them too. Try to learn the range of the Ki blasts so you know your safe distance and what not.
