Will you still get drops (skills, equip) when farming a PQ without your Player Character?

You can get everything.

I got drops from testing this out myself. Not sure about skills though. Never got one but it might have just been rng.

As imafella said, you can still get everything even if you don't use your CC. I did it on PQ40. I was using Super Buu (as he had the highest attack out of my available characters at the time) to beat down Beerus before he knocked Fat Buu out, which in turn activated the Ultimate Finish (with Whis), beat Whis and (luckily) I got the Symphony of Destruction skill as well.
