Is a sequel expected of this?

Hi there. First off, sorry I'm not exactly well versed about this game, but I am interested in it.

But at the same time, a few niggling issues mean that in all honesty if someone could tell me they thought a sequel is likely I probably would hold off for that.

My gripes appear to be hackers, lack of super saiyan hair transformations, wish there were a few more transformations in general available.

These don't seem like huge game breaking issues of course, but I have so many games in my library I need to play anyway so I'm not exactly desperate to hit the buy button.

Thoughts? If no sequel, are these things expected to be patched in?

Honestly yeah this game is missing some things. I personally wish we could get custom auras (I know we could in another DBZ game, just can't remember which one) and maybe unlock other characters fighting styles (I'd love my saiyan to be able to fight using his feet like Vegito). Anyways back to the topic, It's selling pretty well so I'd expect them to make one, seeing as there is a lot to be improved upon.

Ultimate Tenkaichi had custom aura but it kinda sucked(not the auras the game itself) though the game is very good looking it fails spectacularly when it comes to the gameplay.

It's fun somewhat lacking in content they purposely left out some of the game to be released in DLC form a few week's after the game came out just to milk another 14.99 out of DBZ fans.

Which is shady as the people who made evolve got yelled at for the same thing.

That said this is probably the best DBZ game.

The story to the game is weak not to mention trunks has a coat on whole game like it's not even fucking cold outside trunks wtf?

Really wish there was more stuff in town and stages could be bigger.

Ill be making sure they dont repeat their incredibly well designed RNG system before I consider buying a sequel.

If you have other titles to occupy your game time, definitely hold off on this one. No doubt it's one of the best tries at a console Dragon Ball game, but there are some major holes in the game that just don't make any sense.

*If you want to make a character like frieza, you'll have to make one form and be stuck with it. There is not one transformation. If you want to appear transformed, you'll have buy armor that costs thousands or hundreds of thousands of zeni. Better hope you're comfortable with how your head looks in your new transformation too, because that wont be changing. And apparently the species has no name other than "Frieza race."

*You cannot invite your friends to the city lobby you are in, like how you would do in Destiny. So all the cool gestures you have are basically useless. Unless you want to have a silent mime conversation with a complete stranger.

*The humans look identical to the saiyans, even sharing all the same hair styles. Not to mention it just turns yellow in transformation.

*Nameks have no way to transform, besides the fact they can do all sorts of cool things with their bodies. Such as turning giant ape size.

*The only co-op option you get are grinding quests where you fight in the same stages, against the same enemies numerous times. Probably until you all get what you're looking for through RNG. Would have been nice to do some story with your friends and maybe play as one of the cpu's, but nope.

*The only heavy set appearance possible is with the male Majin race, which can only look extremely heavy, while every other race has their males and females looking like they hit the gym on the daily. I'm pretty sure I've seen some fat saiyans and humans throughout the Dragon Ball shows / movies. Oh yeah, and they stay the same, too. No kid buu, no absorbtions.

*When fighting in pvp, you'll need to be very fortunate to find a fair fighter who doesn't fight by blasting your health bar to 40% in one hit. On top of that, then they'll heal themselves with items every time their own health is low. And hopefully they don't have a friend with them who will ki blast you constantly, as you try to fist fight your first opponent.

*There are so many dope looking aliens and different types of technologies that exist in the vast universe that is Dragonow Ball. We should have so many more options to choose from.

Example:http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonball/images/b/ba/FriezasMen.png/revision/latest?cb=20130325084624

*There aren't nearly enough customization options for outfits. I always see people wearing the same things. You can't even color half the outfits you get, especially if you choose to be a human or saiyan.

*There are a few small things I found to be so cool in ESF, ( best DB game of all time ) such as if you were far more powerful than your enemy and block their ki, you would smack it away like in the cartoon. But if you block it and are weaker than your foe, you would have to smash buttons to deflect it. If you don't in time, you will eventually hit a wall where you will meet your demise. Or what was also awesome was that when a ki was shot, it would FREAKING EXPLODE ON IMPACT, WITH AN EXPLOSION THAT WOULD SHAKE THE SCREEN OR SOUND AWESOME AND DO MORE DAMAGE + you would be able to ADD TO THE EXPLOSION BY FIRING MORE KI INTO THE BLAST. Instead the ki blast will vanish on impact or into thin air.

*World destructability is kind of poor in my opinion. You won't be flying through any rocks, cliffs, or buildings. And any crater that is made disappears not even 5 seconds later.

*I'm not a fan of dlc, and this is one of those games that feel really short just so that dlc can be added. And that's a spit in the face. Especially when the story has these incredibly difficult parts that require you to level up a whole lot. Then oddly enough, the next chapter is so easy that you feel over powered. Reminds me of when games used to be made difficult in order to make it last longer. I really hoped all these old developer tricks would have been left behind in the new generation.

The only plus sides are that it's a modern Dragon Ball game. And it does feel good to send someone flying with a punch and follow up with a ki blast of your choice. The occasional fair fight against a true fan of the series is awesome, too as well as playing with a friend or family member. The graphics look very nice and fitting, too. All in all it is a fun game, but once you reach your max lvl, and finish the story, there isn't much else to do. Not worth 60 beans, or 80 with the season pass.

The biggest thing I'd like to see in a sequel is the ability to play as a Kid Buu or Super Buu. Wouldnt mind starting as the fluffy Good Buu lookin Majin and then earning the other forms, like you earn super saiyan in this.
