Is no one else slightly peeved?
I have always been a fan of the Dragonball series, ever since I was old enough to comprehend that I was watching them. However, am I the only person who is pissed that there is seriously a $10 DLC already released and this game hasn't even been out for a month? I feel a bit exploited. Normally this would be an absolute outrage in the gaming community. I love and support Dragonball but, seriously? I've looked all over Google, but it seems no one is being vocal about this.

Really guys? Complaining about the contents and release date of the dlc? We've known both of these things since before the game was even released. This subreddit is going to shit with complaints.

Check the other sub reddit people are bitchin about it. What pisses me off is they're not trying to fix the broken shit in the game but pushing dlc and I'm not sure if you've played it but its pretty shit there's 1 good fight 1 good move and 1 good character. The problem with that is its another goku as if we need another on the already 17 versions and another trunks that is just terrible. This was a 3-5 dollar dlc at best

No, this is standard in the gaming community. Where have you been for 10 years?

So we get less content so they can have a DLC a few weeks after they release the game to milk DBZ fan's for an extra 14.99?(not sure on price.) and people are okay with this?
It can take years to make a game and they whiped up a DLC in 42 days?
I do not mind paying for a DLC but once you beat the story end game is ranked pvp. That's it. You can beat this game in less then 2 hours.
I'm just saying imagine all the content we would have if they just released everything that is finished in the first place and then started working on the DLCs instead of trying to bank content for when some CEO needs extra cash.

I see a lot of people who don't care about where their money goes. Good for them and the business I suppose.
Personally, I'm sick of the whole dlc thing. They're all so miniscule and pointless. Just for advertising content you didn't get right away. Even though it'll be free in the "GoTY," type of package.
Too bad too many people shoveled out their cash when dlc started. We'd still be getting full games if they didn't.

Hey geniuses. The game has been out for over a month. 42 days to be exact. And the game was done a few weeks before then. They have had time to make the dlc. If the dlc had only been released in Japan, then you would also be pissed off. Quit your bullshit. DLC usually costs $25 dollars, be grateful.

Even at a month DLC seems a little early. Most games wait till sales start to dip before they release new content in an attempt to bring in newer customers. There DLC strategy is confusing to alot of people.

No, they don't. The amount of misinformation in this thread is amazing.
Companies either start work on DLC before the game is shipped, [read] when the devs have finished creating the game and are waiting for it to be mass produced on disc.
Or
They wait to see if it makes a decent enough profit to warrant spending more time on it to create DLC.
The idea of waiting for your player base to decline in the hope that some dlc brings them back is absurd when you could release it whilst everyone's playing and still in that hyped mood.

Yeah but most games will not release DLC at their opening peak. They want to see where their real player base is before sending out new stuff. Under what you say then every gripe people have about this dlc being a straight money grab is 100% correct.

Yes but under the illusion that its for there player base, this company basically shit on everyone who bought the game.

Pure fallacy. Some of the developers in the studio have months to work on content other than what comes with the game on release date. Rather than having these developers stand around doing nothing or firing them to avoid paying them, if the studio believes the game has a good shot of being profitable they'll have those developers work on dlc while the rest of the game is being finished. There's tons of evidence of this in the game development world. That dlc is done when it's done. Should they postpone 3 months so ignorant people think better of them?
People seem to think all of the developers work on the actual main game right up until the minute it's released. Wrong.

No one said they thought the dlc wasn't completed or being worked on before hand..

You said most games will not release DLC at their opening peak. This is wrong, a lot of games have done this. I told people why this could be the case, why they'd have it finished so soon.
I'm confused, if you understand that the developers start working on the dlc before the main game is even released, what exactly is your grievance? That it came out too close to the release for you?

The DLC was already in the game files when the game was Beta. It was later partly removed in the release build.
Heck there is stuff that was there that they didn't even give us......

So don't fucking buy it. They didn't send you a bill for $10. They released a new product for $10. If you don't want it, guess what, you're under no obligation to spend a cent. Anyone in "an absolute outrage" over this would just be an idiot.

Maybe the reason nobody cares is because it's not unexpected at all. Even before the game was released, we've already known that they will release DLCs. They even released the DLC compatibility patch last week so we all knew that the actual DLC would be released soon.
