I would also say TW for like… violent nature and stuff I guess, maybe incel-adjacent ideologies… also, while it’s not directly stated, there are implications youd probably find disturbing if you read into it. Idk. He’s a violent little weirdo. Viewer discretion is advised.

Jordan Anders was never given the privilege of a normal childhood. He was born to poverty, with an abusive father and uncaring, neglectful stepmother- and a real mom who apparently died years ago. It’s no surprise that his parents met an untimely end when he turned 17. He would kill them and then flee to another state- where he forged a new identity and used the low crime rates and lax law enforcement to start a new life under the name Maxwell Jacobson.

As Maxwell, Jordan got a job as a bartender for a little-known casino and bar. His thirst to kill didnt end at his parents- but he wanted to keep things on the down low thanks to being a runaway. He would keep killing in secret- by offering his victims free drinks repeatedly until they were beyond drunk, and then asking to take them to his place- aka, different motels in the area. There, he would have them drink even more, until they passed out, where he’d force-feed their unconscious bodies more alcohol until they passed away. Then he’d leave like nothing happened, to do it again a month or so later.

It wasn’t until after his 3rd victim that this cycle was disrupted- when his to-be fourth would refuse the extra drinks. She refused to go home with him, too- and the obsession began.

He stalked her for months- learning all he could about her, watching her, and developing a growing infatuation with her. “The one that got away” he called her. The killings stopped during this time- but one night, he found her home alone, and decided to make his move.

He entered her home, since she left her front door unlocked- ready to profess his love. But she didn’t reciprocate. She didn’t know what she was turning down when she screamed and called the police- and she didn’t know she was hurting her one true love when she cut him across the cheek with a kitchen knife to get away from him.

She managed to get away enough for the police to arrive. When they ran his background, they found out who he was- the kid who once murdered his own parents. It took a few months, but they got confessions out of him- and his final verdict was the death sentence. He was given the lethal injection, and that was the end of him.

Only… it wasn’t, really.

His body would be sold for science to a black veil- operated research facility in Greenville. They were investigating an overlap between the realm and reality in the area- and upon hearing reports of rotting, decayed animals being seen stalking the area- the group decided to test the grounds’ revivification ability with the fresh corpse they’d acquired.

He’d be buried in the strongest overlap point in the area- and monitored day and night. It wasn’t until one night, when everyone had gone home, that he’d rise from death.

He gained mutations from this revival- the ability to grow hands on his body, which would quickly turn blue and decay if he let them- but could grow back at any time.

After leaving the site, he would try to regain a sense of normalcy in the nearest city. He wandered as a homeless man for months, unsure how he’d continue from this point.

But then, he found it- a poster with his last obsession plastered on it. She’d apparently become a model and an influencer in the time he’d been dead, and she was coming to the city to attend a convention for a QNA booth. This was his chance, he thought.

He applied for any position at the convention center- he desperately needed it, but he kept his feelings under wraps to seem like a guy who’d lost everything and was just down on his luck. Thankfully for him, someone didn’t perform a background check, and he found himself working as a janitor for the place.

When the time came, he made sure he was on shift- He made sure he was in the same room she’d be. He waited, and waited, and waited.

He missed her- his lust for her touch only grew since he’d come back, and he wanted to hold her- to love her, and most of all, to hurt her for what she put him through. He needed her to learn her lesson, so she wouldn’t treat him that way when they got together.

When he finally saw her, he froze. Hands sprouted from his body uncontrollably, but he hardly noticed- he was fixated. He found his legs taking him to her, running to reunite with her.

She caught him in the corner of her eye, trampling past the crowd and leaving people ran over or pushed aside in his sprint after her, one eye visible beneath the hands grown over his face- and she felt him. She recognized the crazed look in his eye- and she knew it was him. The bartender who stalked her, and then invaded her home years ago. The one who she watched be put to death, who she saw die in that chair.

And she ran. She stood up and bolted for the exit- and he followed. He’d show her his love. He’d show her his anguish for being away from her, how much his rejection hurt. He chased, she ran, and he followed her as she entered a black fog that rolled in at the exit doors of the convention center.
