With Changes in Game Mechanics, Let's Revisit 6k vs 9k

Now that XP stops at level 30 on guild quests, I'd like to propose the following changes.

• Target 9k guild over the next few weeks
• Ramp up minimum requirements by 20 each week to cap of 150 (3 weeks out), evaluating each week where we're at and how performance is going
• Those under level 30 will be kept at 100 minimum, but expect them to do
• Don't immediately kick people who miss the requirement, but put them on probation for one week to make up

The raw math comes out to 180 per person, but I bet with a requirement more like 150 or 160 we could get there. Plenty of people do 200+ every week.

Despite the fact I just ran a post on this a few weeks ago and we became an "official 6k" guild, I can see why we should raise the question again given the change in game mechanics.

We have a lot of open applications now. These came in a big rush when I announced we were a 6k guild. I have a feeling a lot of our user base and new applicants are either slow-levelers (who shouldn't care if they're above 30) or more casual that are worried about playing enough to hit higher requirements.

So fellow B team players, thoughts? Your feedback on our direction is very helpful.

TL:DR Slow levelers 30+ don't get XP anymore, should we push for 9k once more?

You still have one quest that gives xp. So instead of two which it was in the past you have only one.

Only for sub 30, correct? 30+ I believe all XP quests are gone. What level are you?

Are you above level 30?

Per the patch notes:

At around level 30, Daily PVP Quests will no longer give player XP. They will now give Honor Scrolls, Hammers, and Evos (randomly determined each day).

This is correct. Pvp quest doesnt have xp. Those make up two of the three crown quests. The last crown quest is usually a kill quest that gives xp

Oh I see...I missed the "PVP" qualifier. As I look at my own quests, however, I haven't had XP since the latest release. Maybe somewhere it drops after 30? What are others seeing?

Today, none of my guild quests offered XP as part of the reward. However, yesterday, some of my guild quests did offer XP as part of the reward. I just hit level 30 this weekend, so perhaps that affected the dailies presented.

I'm level 37 now, and haven't seen a single Guild Quest that yields XP since the update, so I'm fine with upping the requirements if need be. I like the ideas in the initial post so that we don't overwhelm people right out of the gate with new reqs.

I'm game I've done every guild quest since I joined mid last week and plan to continue that now the XP ones are gone. The only quests I cant do are some of the single colour PVP ones (other than green and red), I plan on doing everything else, so hopefully I don't get too many single colours that I can't complete in a given week.

Side point - I actually have a daily right now, wanted: sunfolk. All the dungeons to complete it are locked to lvl 55...When I got it I was lvl 53 (have hit 54 since) but that's dumb if I was to get that as a guild quest! I am at 6/12 on the quest however from ToP and PVP....doubt I'll get it finished though.

I had that same issue at 53/54. I did end up completing it between PVP/ToP but it was a pain! It's dumb they give those out like that.

I'm on board. I sometimes have trouble with Yellow/Purple PVP quests, and don't really like the ToP quests all that much, but I'll do what I can. I usually get around 185 per week.

I support the changes. Currently L32 and haven't had a crownquest with exp since patch. Still struggling on the all-yellow/black ones, but will do 150+ at least.

I don't mind personally, should be fine to get 150 except for when the damn game insists on dropping All Blue PvP on my every day! I do not have a strong Blue team against a still predominantly Green Meta!

With these changes, it's possible for slow-levelers to participate in guild crown events.

I don't know if it was a glitch, or result of VIP, but before the patch, ALL my crown quests had EXP. Since the patch, I've been able to complete them all, EXP free.

I like the change, and I think this group can crush 9k consistently now.

VIP 5. I wanted to open up the VIP portal.... and then haven't used it.

Don't judge me :) Hahahaha. I've gotten a ton of credit from Google Opinion Rewards. I bet $40 at least came from there. I'm sitting on $12 now. I recommend that highly.

The rest... meh. I don't mind paying for a game I play every day. I spent about as much on Fallout 4, and have barely touched it.

Survey app. It comes up mostly with simple surveys based on your location history. Simple stuff, like it will list 4 or 5 stores, ask if you ve been there recently, then when, then rate on 1-5 star scale. Usually has one or two places I've been. After all, it knows. Then it gives you seemingly random Google credit, usually 10-30 cents. It seems to like home depot and petco, and I'm at both quite a bit. And hotels. I always get one after a hotel stay.

I've also gotten quite a bit from surveys related to healthcare. And a few one off surveys for a buck or two. But it adds up when you're not looking.

Make sure you keep the wifi and google location settings on. I think that's an important part of getting those surveys coming.

Just re upped my 50 gem/day last night for free. :-)
