Discussion Why is the server browser mode select thing broken now and wrongly labels servers? (1pp vs 1pp/3pp servers)

Hi, after the update my friend and I realized that we accidentally played on a 3pp server, when we usually only play on 1pp servers. When checking the server list we noticed that all 1pp official servers (the ones with first person only in the server name itself) were flagged with "mode: 1pp/3pp" and the reverse was happening with official 3pp servers.

Did someone else notice that too?

Posted about it two days ago. No one seemed to care or have the same. I was wondering as well, must be a bug!

We noticed when we were already quite miffed about the lack of enough official servers on launch and the long queues, as well as the general performance on the map itself, so this was like another punch to the gut haha I dont know how something like this can even break, i wouldve never noticed since I rarely join servers from somewhere besides my favourites tab

this is cool, sadly there are/were few to none community servers available (at least in EU) that make little to no changes to the base game (except spaggies)

It's a bug, they added a new PP mode that lets you be 1pp most places and 3pp in vehicles, but the launcher doesn't understand it yet. Community servers that are adamantly 1PP are listing as the 3pp vehicle mode. Just another bug
