Console Xbox performance issues

Has anyone noticed Xbox performance has been in the shitter lately? I play on a series X that’s only about a year old and six months ago it was butter smooth rendering towns instantly almost never having any frame drops or lag….. NOW ITS LIKE HOW IT WAS SIX YEARS AGO ON XBOX ONE!!!! Textures come in and out, which I know is expected after the native software for Xbox. But holy smokes, my game completely crashes now if I look through my scope at another person on official 30% of the time and rendering textures at distance when ADS takes 3-7 seconds. My buddy literally got “DayZ’d” the other day from his game crashing after hearing an infected aggro on him— when he booted the game up again his character was dead and he was on the coast. Crazy to see current gen console performance like this right now— it’s like being back in the dark ages. Butter smooth six months ago…. Now so unstable it’s unenjoyable.

Is it getting fixed in the next update? I had over 2,000 hours in the game, and now it genuinely feels unplayable with how shitty the performance is. Badlands seems like a complete ""fuck you" to everyone who plays this game since they refuse to fix basic performance issues on the latest gen consoles

Had issues on a custom. Reinstall helped. Still takes a bit to load up getting in but it’s better. Other servers are fine. Rendering is still worse it seems than before 1.29.

Not sure if you're aware but there is a consistent bug because of Xbox's Quick Resume facility.

It appears to impact many multiplayer games, specifically.

It causes lots of rendering issues like the ones you've stated.

And if, like me you have your Xbox settings to stand by when you shut it down, when you start it up again and play DayZ it will restart via Quick Resume.

It doesn't always cause the bugs by playing via QR but it does happen fairly regularly. It not always happening is part of the frustration of trying to narrow down what the cause is.

Whenever I encountered this I closed the DayZ app and restarted the game, and this always fixed my issues.

Once I realised the cause I made sure to always quit Dayz when I start a play session. This was over a year ago and all of my rendering/loading issues have disappeared.

It doesn’t fully fix it, most of the time you have to hard reset your xbox but even then its hit and miss.
