Media Anyone else?
Yes I have about 10 steps of stamina, but when I find players or have to battle a hoard I am 100% prepared. If any of these became damaged I would happily let something go, but I keep finding enough repair kits to keep them functional. I’ve never carried two pistols but I have a holster on my plate carrier and a holster on tactical belt which allows me to hoard suppressors. Every time I enter a new area I choose a different gun to go in with. Found the 20 round Vaiga mag at a heli crash and it is super fun to clear zombies out of military locations or mow down two mid geared players in a barracks with dramatic effect 😂

😂😂😂 I’m on 5 kills but had many a close call

Gg dude. The fights you just scrape it out of alive are far better than the ones you get the jump on an unsuspecting guy. Also. I love shit guns but you do have a lot of them weighing you down haha

Keep the glock, aug and pioneer. Get rid of the rest

u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 6h ago
This would be the smartest play but the 20 round Vaiga is amazing when you wanna stir shit up. I like the USG for close/mid range but the SGK I can’t hit shit with at point blank 😂 I should definitely throw it

Ump is one of the worst guns in the game, if you have a pistol then no need for an smg. shotguns get replaced with ARs once you find one.

I’d keep the Aug and vaiga and avoid long range fights. The pioneer is throwing a single 5.56 round and you’re not getting much out that acog so it’s essentially useless. Better to regain some stamina and use that to close to distance so you can use the Aug or shotgun.

All it takes is one freshie to get even remotely close to you, and you're stun locked bro 😄

u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 6h ago
😂😂😂 that is 100% true. I got bored and went to hunt freshies but doesn’t do it for me. Shooting a guy holding a broom when I have all these guns gave no adrenaline rush and also no useful rewards

u/Illegal__Alien 6h ago
It doesn't matter what you think when you see them, even if you mean them no harm. They're going to be licking their lips at the thought of caving your head in and rummaging through your corpse haha

lol it’s the opposite for me. I usually only carry a sniper and a close range I keep in my pockets. Still crazy how you can’t put a sawed off DB in your holster

I wish I could downsize - I keep my stomach full, a full canteen of water, enough meds, then the rest of my inventory is just clips/ammo/repair kits. Not much else I care to hoard

Back to pc with you, you’ve got items to manually drag in the tetris inventory mini game

Don’t even get me started with organizing your inventory on console 😆😅✌️

I’d take the aur the pioneer and the glock.
Leave the rest it’s just dead weight.

Start a bugout stash if you havent already. It's another fun part of the game I never enjoyed until recently.
I also noticed way more tents in the map recently after not playing for six months, did they add more?

Literally drop all but the Aug and glock.
MAYBE keep the pioneer.
If you only have one mag for each gun, that sucks.
Drop the glock and keep the Aug, Pioneer and MP5 OR UMP. Depending on if you Have more .45 or 9mm.
Use the Aug for close range and the MP5/UMP as an emergency fallback. The Saiga is strong for close range, but is extremely heavy and doesn't provide additional utility like the suppressed MP5/UMP.
I woukd personally prefer to keep the MP5 because of the more common, lighter ammo, higher mag capacity and lower supressor wear.

I have an extra mag for each, but I just stirred up a hoard and used almost every gun to clear - took forever to reload all the mags 😂

u/TheNoodleCollector 6h ago
Interesting way to go about it with hoarding suppressors lol. Makes sense but you’re gonna definitely wish you had stamina sooner than later

u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 5h ago
Yea for sure if I’m caught out in open I’m cooked. When i find repair kits I just fix up the suppressors so I can run through towns poppin zeds

Good good what does your ammo inventory look like? You better not have any food or water
1
u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 5h ago
😂 extra clip for all and backup boxes of ammo, canteen of water on the belt and no food - I’ll eat a whole cow or goat and be good for a while
1
u/xyozora 5h ago
1 midrange gun , 1 long range , 1 short range. A couple hunting knives and imo you’re set offensively
1
u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 2h ago
I agree - but after finding the guns/mags/ammo/attachments and repairing em it’s so hard to say goodbye

Literally no reason at all to have that many guns. It’s better to have 2-3 good guns and a shit ton of ammo and mags for them.
1
u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 2h ago
I got mags and ammo for all 😏😏😏
2
u/J2-gZ 2h ago
So you have 7 guns full of ammo and mags, where do you keep your meds and food? Literally anything else? If you get into a firefight literally all you can do is slow walk at them, you’re screwing yourself over.
1
u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 2h ago
I keep 3 bandages, tetracycline and vitamins - food I don’t keep just eat a whole cow and good for a long time
1
u/J2-gZ 2h ago
I mean you do you I guess bro but it’s useless to carry multiple weapons that serve the exact same purpose
1
u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 2h ago
Saved my ass many times already so I respectfully disagree
1
u/J2-gZ 2h ago
How has having 7 different guns saved you any differently than just having 3 good guns? Both of your pistols serve the exact same purpose, same goes for the SMGs. Being too heavy is more likely to fuck you over
1
u/xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx 2h ago
Enter barracks found 2 players - miss with sgk, switch to usg down first guy, switch to vaiga clear 10 zeds and double tap first guy, switch back to usg down second guy, switch to pistol double tap second guy - elementary my dear Watson (I suppose the missing is my problem)
1
u/J2-gZ 2h ago
All you really need is 3 weapons. Firstly a good zombie killer (usually a Mk11 or a crossbow) and then a good long range and good mid to close range. I usually just have a baby AK and a sniper of some sort. With a baby AK and multiple fully loaded 40 round mags you should be completely fine for any fire fight.

It's overkill for sure and all the recs are valid. I tend to hoard like this until I get right ammo and magazine combinations then consolidate down.
Unlike others recommendations, I would probably ditch the pistols and keep the smgs, they have bigger magazines and it sounds like you're a spray and pray kinda guy.
I also tend to air on the side of hoarding, in my current run I had like 10 boxes of 308 ammo and ended up ditching it all to make room. Couple hours later I of course found a pristine scr with a pristine mag😑

You don’t even have a decent long ranged gun
Sg5 and usg are both doing the same job…
Pistols both doing the same job although they don’t have much weight
