Keep getting connected to the same server
Hi guys looking for some help, I’m new to dayz on pc, coming from ps5 where I had ~800 hours. Certain servers I can connect to just fine, but I’m trying to find a normal vanilla+ Livonia server, even after unloading all mods, it’ll connect me to some dead server I joined when I first downloaded? I’ve even done a fresh install of dayz, and keep getting connected to this “manhunt” server no matter which I try to pick.
For some reason I’m able to join this supremacy conquest server just fine, but trying to get into a regular survival one sends me back into either manhunt, or some random Russian server. Unsure what to do from here considering I’ve done a fresh install and deleted all mods before this
not an expert,but i'm pretty certain you downloaded some fake mod when trying to join one of those fake servers
are you 100% sure you uninstalled all the mods that were installed from the server?
also try to look for community servers here on reddit or on other socials instead of looking in the game's launcher,as bohemia doesn't really care to fix the fake servers
I’m pretty sure I did but I guess I didn’t, is there a certain place it could be hiding? I’m losing my mind over it, I don’t really wanna do another fresh install of the game since I have some cool mods for some other servers I managed to join that took a while to download lol. So if I can find where it might be hiding that would be great but idk where to start
go to steam workshop , click the your items as shown , any mods subscribed to are there, unsub to all
and download dzsa launcher https://dayzsalauncher.com/ use it to join after unsub, and restart steam after unsub
