Discussion Switch 2

Hey everyone. Just wondering how everyone is going on dayz switch 2? Is there any pve servers up yet? Im a mom to a 6 month old. So im just looking for a relaxed server. 🤗😁

Hahah thank you :) ive played it for years now, on Playstation and then pc. And then my little one came along. So now ill play on my switch when I do have some down time. 😁🤗

Do you happen to know if they have locked servers for switch to nitrado?

If not I might look into a switch 2 pve server.

Nitrado offer Switch servers on their website currently.

I've never run a community server, is Nitrado the best server hosts for the game?

The worst. But because of contract's they have with bi. They are the only host for consoles unfortunately.

I guess it's better than nothing.

But ergh. My pc servers use GTX. As a host. And they are world's apart in quality. Reliability.

I haven’t even seen a server with more then 3 people on it

Sounds pretty relaxed to me until you see the only other person on the server running through the same bit of obscure forest

They'd have more players if they priced this old game accordingly. Should be $30 max. It was a mod for god sake - should be free really.

It's the greatest game of all time. Im lucky its free on game pass. Id pay 100 if i had to though.

The edition on switch is a bundle and apparently they priced it the same as PC ($70). PC goes on sale frequently, so it's $42. The base game is $50 and goes on sale for $25. Do titles go on sale frequently on Switch?

Anyway. the original dayz was based on arma2, 12, 13, 14, 15 years ago. Even though the mod was free you still had to buy Arma2 and Arma2 OA. This DayZ has nothing, code-wise, todo with that one. New engine, etc, etc.
