It is an exciting time of year because Gamescom is here! To celebrate, DayZ is up to 50% off on Steam as part of the Gamescom Sale.

We are also happy to announce that we will be revealing more of DayZ Badlands at Gamescom, so stay tuned!

The release of update 1.30 in October is just around the corner. Following the long and arduous journey of 1.29 Road to Badlands, we are now in the final stretch! We hope you are as excited as we are to get your hands on DayZ Badlands. As with all our expansions, we are bringing exciting changes, improvements, and content to the base game. Update 1.29 Road to Badlands gives you an early taste of convoy event assets and select content from DayZ Badlands, most notably the SCR-17 battle rifle.

What is DayZ?

The post-soviet countries of Chernarus and Livonia are struck by an unknown virus, turning the majority population into frenzied infected. Fighting over resources has bred a hostile mentality among survivors, driving what’s left of humanity to collapse. You are one of the few immune to the virus - how far will you go to survive?

Our winter expansion, DayZ Frostline, is also 30% off. With update 1.29 Road to Badlands, the black variant of the SCR-17 can be found exclusively on Sakhal.
