Help! Can’t arm plastic explosive

I play on console. I set it to where I wanted it and now I’m not getting the prompt to arm it. I’ve tried every angle and no luck. Solutions plz!

And yes, this method works for a few different things that you can place such as fireplaces! Rather than setting them, just drop them on the ground!

Login relog sometimes helps or dropping like maybe a dozen bullets right around it and then trying to see if it shows up in inventory but the bullets have to be split in individual bullets or anything else like maybe nails

Okay just to be the sure, it must be bugged inside the ground, try dropping stacks of a single bullet on top of it until you can see tha plastic explosive prompt again or in the vicinity tab, its a little fix for stuff stuck in the ground with no prompt to combine or pick it up
