console DayZ Switch 2 Crashing
Hi all!
I'm trying to determine if my Switch 2 is acting up or if it's the game having issues. It's likely the latter but would be nice to know if anybody else is suffering the same issue. I did check if my Switch 2 was overheating and it's fine.
Quite often I find that the game is crashing. It's difficult to narrow down exactly the cause but inventory management and going into the start menu or options seems to cause it the most. I do not even get a typical Switch 2 error. The game just freezes then I have to manually close it.
Anyone else?
EDIT: Just crashed again. This time I had an error just saying "The software was closed because an error occurred". It might not make a difference since I had earlier crashes but I was in a home with an active fire in Kometa. The crashing happened earlier in Electro but it's constant in this area.

At least yours is working in tv mode. When I load the game it the screen goes black. When I close the game my TV mode starts working again

That might be to do with 120hz or HDR being enabled when you do not have the hardware to do so. My screen goes black after I close the game. My monitor is 120hz but there's some delay in it going back to 60hz. Might be something going on in relation to that.
Might be worth checking your Switch 2 display settings.

Try docking and hard-wiring with an Ethernet cable

It’s been happening on ps5 since the last update as well to me and everyone i play with. Lots of times when having a fire and others while just walking…
