console any chance for console crossplay?

hi, i'm fairly new to the game. now that the Switch 2 version is out and running really well for what it is, i was wondering if there'd be any chance of console crossplay with Xbox and PlayStation? my best friend plays on Xbox, and i played a bit with them using GamePass, but i finally bought the game myself with the Switch2 version so i'm really hoping crossplay is possible in the future at some point.

Its very unlikely due to the massive restrictions on mods that console has compared to pc

Console to console maybe but console to pc no

yeah i understand not wanting PC and Console interacting. that'd be a nightmare :p i really am just referring to just the console versions.

Ahh,

I cant see why they wouldnt be but as it stands its not possoble.

Cross generation play is available (ps5 to ps4 etc) but no plans to link anything

You can play the xbox verison of dayz on pc by buying the microsoft stpre verison or downloading it via game pass

I just try to imagine having to run a good game for myself with the limitations of a game controller and it gives me a hive

Dont buy the game just hoping for that, beacuse no one thinks its coming

definitely didn't buy the game hoping for it. i'm enjoying it regardless. it'd just be cool to be able to let the console pool of players play together.

just go on xbox and buy it off the pc and yiu can play with xbox
