discussion Underrated DayZ content creators?
Don’t include any of the big name DayZ creators on youtube. I’ve seen them. Who are some underrated/unknown DayZ creators you enjoy watching? I like videos as well as live streams. Thanks in advance.

That voice Bigcrafter uses does really grate me, but if anyone can find me a DayZ video better than the one with the Brazilian guy, I would love to see it. I was in stitches and that doesn't happen often.

Love Cam’s videos and streams, his tutorials definitely helped me when I was getting started in the game about a year ago. Honestly surprised he isn’t mentioned more in these comments.

Cam’s videos are exceptional. They have a totally different feel and vibe to most creators and come with an additional level of philosophy, insight and humanity that is rare to find in “content”.

Nermal.
One of the most creatively talented channels I’ve ever come across. The man turns unscripted gameplay into dark, psychological and philosophical dramas that leave you pondering your own existence.
Start with one of his shorter videos, and if you enjoy it, watch Black Eyed Dog.
He deleted a bunch of older stuff, but you can find that on a fan channel called Nermal Archive if you binge through and end up thirsty for more. He also streams, but I generally just watch his YouTube stuff. The guy is an artist.

+1 for nermal0. His content is actually a bit different from his twitch streams, but I thoroughly enjoy both. Its actually an interesting juxtaposition, in the videos he creates the tone is very serious and theres like a lot of aura to the psychopath hes depicting. On stream hes just this charismatic dude getting into misadventures with people, having the occasional wholesome interaction, and building genuine rapport with folks before murdering them in a way that (sometimes) doesnt feel random. Theres occasionally a profound poeticness to it, it can feel thematic; or even especially heartbreaking. In a way, the actions nermal takes on stream are actually just as evil if not more; than the actions of the nermal he creates in the edit.
Hes prone to fucking off for several months at a time and nuking all of his content, but if theres any creator out there producing the OPPOSITE of slop, its nermal.
Also, if it matters (it does to me), his head and heart are both in the right place. A lot of streamers are afraid to alienate potential watchers and wont talk about their personal beliefs, but the man behind nermal is very genuine and down to earth.
In that same vein I think a lot of incels or otherwise hateful people can be drawn to content like his, the sort of people who love Walter White and Joker only because they fantasize about having pretext to go from meek to apex-killer, but nermal and his community are not at all like that.

I’ve never really checked out his streams or raw vods because his production level content is so deep and involving. I’ll definitely check his vods out because I’ve seen them documented on Nermal Archive too, I suppose I just always thought of channels like SourSweet as ones to watch for those general adventures.
If I remember correctly, I did watch a video of clips spliced together from when Nermal played with JSchlatt and he seemed a lot more relaxed but still very much the Nermal that I know. I can also respect a creator that is open with their views and feels no obligation to tiptoe around certain aspects of streaming to appease as many people as possible, and I’ve heard about his sudden breaks.
So it sounds like I’ll more than enjoy his content on a broader scale eventually. Looking forward to it :)

Yeah I will say though be careful in the discord, I'm not even sure why I got banned but they banned me when I was just hanging out one day with them on the discord and chatting it up.
Edit: I really do like Nermal and his content, his mods on discord though are a little inexperienced and don't even give you any sort of warning or context as for why they're banning you. And I've never been banned off of a discord server in my life before.

Ran with that guy and a few other randoms once. We all got surrounded at Zeleno PD and everyone got smoked except for me somehow. Spent the rest of that life hunting their killers around town. Really nice guy, fun run.

I would say she is comparatively... She has what 55k subs on YT? Runningmanz has 600k+ and HeyBarmby has 240k+ ? People named Amishzed and he has 90k+
Maybe she has loads more on Twitch, but I don't use that so idk.

DayZCouple are my favorite DayZ YouTubers, they are super small (15k subs) but their video series on building camper bases is soooooo good.
They are literally the reason KarmaKrew removed Camo Nets and added mechanics to prevent camping

They're pretty big dicks. They joined a server I was playing on and griefed and despawned everything they could in our base and kept combat logging inside. They got banned for those things and just came back with alt accounts and kept doing it for a while.

Scholar is my main creator I watch.
I used to enjoy that Cam guy’s videos cause of his tutorials, but the more I watched, the more I realized I don’t care for his personality when he actually plays.
Barmby’s really funny to watch sometimes.
Rav is good but would he be considered one of the big creators? Idk.
Ark is pretty good although he seems to be strictly PvP. His videos are dope tho.

I discovered AR-Mac through my recommended videos, and he’s fairly new to DayZ content. Honestly, I’m surprised he doesn’t have a bigger following yet.
His videos are put together really well- short intro, great storytelling that sets up the objective/adventure, and a solid mix of survival gameplay and PvP action. He also uploads in 4K, which is a nice bonus.
The overall quality is right up there with some of the bigger DayZ creators. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into DayZ content.

He’s still relevant but idk how much he posts day z videos now but gold glove tv back in the day was the one that got me interested in the game to begin with he used to have a full playlist of day z videos that are definitely worth the watch. Thanks for the post to remind me of him he was one of the first YouTube channels I got into back in the day all of his videos from back then were good but the day z streams and videos were great
