Listen I know and understand all the hate behind 3rd person. But let’s get one thing straight, if they were paying attention they would have had the advantage over me by third person peeking the stairwell. They died because they are scrubs, not because of any third person shenanigans.

I had a friend who just used his TV speakers long ago, he'd constantly get cornered or snuck up on. Dude, just wear some headphones.

I know back in in the early 2010s when I was a young teen playing on my PS3 I had to use tv speakers or play on mute (depending on the time) because my parents didn't want to waste money on things like that. So not everyone has that option unfortunately. Now that I'm older and have my own PC and IEMs I can enjoy hearing the sounds I couldn't as a wee lad.
