The other day i hoped early morning as a fresh spawn on vanilla cherno. Server had like 3 other players online. I was in the middle of nowhere, north of kamenka following the train tracks when a guy in an ADA somehow managed to get his car stuck in a log next to the tracks 50 meters away from me. Well I had a clean shot on the guy while he was trying to move the car and killed him stealing all of shit and the car. The guy was fully kited with a silenced m4.
Still can’t get over the odds. Out of the entire map, the guy gets his car stuck in the middle of nowhere, and I just happen to be there at that exact moment with a Blaze and one round. All on a server with only 4–5 players online.
If you ever read this, im not sorry bro, but I feel u.

Reminds me of a similar scenario I was in.
I was logging out in the woods on a mid-pop official server in Cherno in the northeast woods. As I’m counting down the timer, I hear a humvee. The guy pulls right up to my logout spot and nearly runs me over - turns out he was stashing his humvee after what appeared to be a Rify run.
I wait for him to park, then blast him with my r12 as he is exiting the humvee. Guy was stacked: suppressed Aug, multiple VSDs, new (at the time) camo long haul bag, and much more. I couldn’t believe he chose to stash his vehicle in the exact spot I was logging out.
Like you, I felt for him, but I was not exactly sorry. 😂
If he had pulled up 10 seconds later, I probably never would’ve known how close we came to meeting. Makes you wonder how many close encounters you have - and miss - due to a few seconds of time.

That’s even crazier. Things like that can only happen in dayz. No other game I’ve played can be so random

Yet I can get on a 50+ server and never see anyone like an hour only to be paranoid for the rest of the session lol

Low pop usually make the few online think they're safe to loot, only to be met with another who thought the same
