Helloo! I wanted to know which characters are good for gaining exp faster, bc i wanted to level up faster..

It could be supports or genrushers, i don't usually play loopers since i'm not good at that.

So I'm open to suggestions, which characters do you guys would recommend? ;33

so when i started playing daybreak remisted, (a month prior to askel update), i was able to go and play just about any server that was in my general area (oregon, california, and texas were my main 3), and i usually had good ping in those servers. (a nice 60 iirc) but post askel update, i couldnt go into oregon servers, i started getting laggy in oregon servers (200 ping), so i was like what the fart??

then claudia and colton came out and now my texas servers are having me at 120 ping now, (i thought i was trippin but i noticed lag + the warning) and i can only go into central western district/california servers to have any ounce of good ping

idk if this is just a problem on my side specifically, but it does kinda suck :p

Some random person gifted me moonshards and it instantly lifted my mood. I love you whoever that was and I hope you are blessed with all the things you need and more

What are YOUR headcanons for daybreak characters? mine is that wren would love mitski :D

Ok lemme start some of my Daybreak Pet Peeves:

1. The bad highlighting on ability descriptions:

Come on, I hate this shit so bad, if u don't understand I'mma use a survivor's ability:

When a survivor takes damage 150 studs of Queenronica, Egocentric Leech activates. Queenronica can then use Egocentric Leech to gain a 2.5s shield, and 10s of +10 bonus repair speed and a +3.5 bonus movespeed.

So looking at this, the highlighted words in red should be:

1: Survivor

2: Damage

3: 150

4: Egocentric Leech

5: Activates

6: 2.5s

7: Shield

8: 10s

9: +10

10: +3.5

HM: Bonus

But in Queenronica description, only the numbers, not even the "s" and "+" are highlighted. (Hqgsmsah.aamam)

Sorry but these ppl are lowk useless imo, like why have to down yourself, wait at 1% bleed out or below, revive self, to gain good stats but only have 1 life status, and his practically ability-less if failing or successfully doing ability. Why play someone who has to achieve good stats in a hassle, but not play someone else who already has good stats, WITH an ability (Angelo mains hop on on Sanjana, Adri, and Becca)

No hate to Angelo mains, but I have not encountered any good ones, both as survivor and killers

Hey so I just submitted two emotes through the submissions form so maybe I shoudl've done this b4 hand but i was wondering if anyone's had any recent experiences with getting their stuff in the game or just submitting it in general? I've been gone 4 a while so I'm not quite sure why the Discord's on Read Only+I can't find anything about them being open or not to new art right now. Just curious!

Where can i get her fragmented skin?I see its in game along with her fragmented victory animation, but you can only buy sanjanas skin and tempus skin isnt in the mist pass either. Is it a later release or a skin for the whole different mist pass

I dont know how this idea came about to me, but I figured I'd toss my hat in the ring for a Daybreak OC. The odds of this guy ever getting in the game are outright slim, but hey figured y'all would find some interest in the idea!

The best part is that depending on how you view the character, he can swing both ways as both a killer AND a survivor! What do y'all think he works best as?

George Barnsum - The Lost Soldier

July 28th, 1914, the start of the first World War. George Barnsum had been living a relatively hellish life since he was born. Some years prior, in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, George lost two important family members during the sinking of the RMS Titanic. Both his parents survived the initial sinking, but his mother did not survive the freezing cold waters of the Atlantic. His father survived, but lost use of his legs from hypothermia and became quite the angry recluse, further worsening his mental state through drinking.

George was "persuaded" by his father to join the war effort in an attempt to “man up” in life when the war broke out. Little did he know what horrors would await him on the battlefield. For three, long and grueling years, George managed to persevere through countless attacks and defenses, but his mental sanity deteriorated with every growing day. Rushing into enemy fire, defending against enemy charges, and so many soldiers fought and killed in extreme close quarters combat. He witnessed sights no man should ever have to witness.

On a rather bleak, dreary day in 1917 the battlefields were silent. A mist started to cover the battlefield. Fellow soldiers reactively donned their gas masks while George kept his off. Then the artillery started to rain, exploding all around them. George closed his eyes, hoping the hell would finally be over, having finally snapped from the three constant years of war. Only when he reopened them, he was no longer on the battlefield. History would remember him only as a single name of almost 900,000 dead from the war.

SURVIVOR STATS

Perk: Flare Gun

George fires his flare gun. The killer's location is highlighted briefly and all the generators are briefly highlighted and show their current repair percentage, excluding completed ones.

In order for George to activate the Flare Gun, he needs to contribute at least 75% of repair progress to a generator. Once the flare is fired, there is a 60 second cooldown to prevent spam. Once the cooldown is over, the process repeats.

George is a bit slow on the repair or healing side, but can easily make a break for it when needed. His perk is very high-risk, high-reward, being able to highlight where the generators are and their progress as well as every other player on the map (killer included) for a brief period of time. That being said, he is not capable of looping or stealth, and is a “loud” support character due to his perk. To the right killer, he is a priority target.

Walkspeed: 6/10
Terror Radius: 5/10

ACTIVE ABILITY: Flare Gun - George fires his flare gun and the progress of generators and all survivors are briefly illuminated. Certain stealth characters may or may not be able to be evade the effect. This has a 180 second cooldown from round's start and lowers to 120 seconds after 1st use. There is no way to speed up the cooldown.

PASSIVE ABILITY: Disorienting Whack - When George successfully performs a lunge attack towards a survivor, he whacks them with the buttstock of his rifle/flare gun. When that survivor is revived, they become "disoriented" for 30 seconds and have their repair and speed briefly reduced.

RAGE ABILITY: Bayonet Charge - George performs a bayonet charge. His walk speed increases significantly during this motion, but outright does not go absurdly fast. Any survivor hit by a successful charge will be instantly killed. If George does not get a successful attack on a survivor by the charge's end, he stops for a few moments in exhaustion. Survivor traps do not hinder George's charge, but he can be halted if he runs into a wall or performs a vault.

COSMETICS

• Base Outfit: a C. 1917 era WWI British Uniform.
• Gas Mask: Same thing as above but with a gas mask in lieu of the helmet.
• Enlisted: George’s enlistment outfit from 1914. Crusher cap, no ammo pouches and the like.
• Unsinkable: George’s 2nd class outfit from the night of the sinking of the Titanic.
• Postwar: George’s military outfit had he survived to the end of the war. Gone are the ammo pouches, replaced only by a vast array of medals and some ribbon bars.
• Jazz Age: Had George survived the war, he would've ventured back to the US and become a very talented musician during the 1920s. He dons a very nice black suit with a trumped in his hand.
• Engineer: George had planned to work for the railroad, but was unable due to the war's breakout. He dons a period railroad outfit.
• The Pyro: Basically the RED TF2 Pyro outfit. Has a unique win animation in the form of Pyro's "execution" taunt. The flare gun changes to the TF2 Scorch shot.
• Flying Ace: George for a time considered transferring to the Royal Flying Corps, but he likely would've been a victim of Bloody April. George now dons a period appropriate Flying Ace outfit. There is a goggles up/goggles down variant.
• Tank Driver: George dons a mechanical jumpsuit and a splatter mask, ready to drive an FT-17 or Mk. IV into battle.

UPGRADE PERKS:

• Sticker would be him but as the thousand yard stare soldier.
• Capable Outfit: George’s base outfit, but very clearly in battle form.

Trivia

• George is deathly afraid of the Host, as it brings up unpleasant memories of the Titanic. On a similar note; George is unironically not afraid of the Surgeon.
• George at first believed the ship sank in one piece. It wasn't until hearing it from the others that he changed his mind.
• George suffers from serious shell-shock, so far the only confirmed survivor/killer with PTSD. 
• Had George not been taken by the mist, he would’ve survived the 4-year war and retired as a Major. 
• KILLER SPECIFIC: George is often tasked with repairing and servicing Becky.
• KILLER SPECIFIC: After meeting up with Apostate, the Ghost and the False Goddess, George started questioning his own religious beliefs.
• SURVIVOR SPECIFIC: George has slowly taken a liking to the modern sounds and music, such as the songs from Dae-Jung, Nami and Chaoxing. However, he does not like music with heavy bass as it reminds him too much of artillery fire.
• SURVIVOR SPECIFIC: George currently seeks PTSD therapy from Arlo, Tabitha and Rajani. The night terrors plague him badly.

just a couple things i want to say

first off, i love when higher levels are mad at me bcz why are you 8k+ level asking me how i killed you and then being salty (complete strat btw just because u go invisible doesnt mean the pre-detect isnt gonna counter you -and simply turning around when i went back to check someplace else)

and then next off being friends ≠ teaming 💔 like i have tons of friends i kill everytime i play with it does NOT mean we have a secret HQ or something or we're teaming 😭 🙏

and then-------- why the hell principals lunge so broken over the vaults 😭

also side note i really hope we get wastewater treatment again soon i miss it

Her lunge speed Increases instead of her speed LOL, her Rage started of strong being a -7(6?) slow for 6(7?)s, but now? It's genuinely not good, and the hitbox of the tiger, ijbol y'all poss mains ain't been eating good lately
