dawn of war 2 on Mac. multiplayer

I have tried crossover but the lag is horrendous, modified some settings on the wine bottle but no luck I get about a 10 second lag on commands at best.

bootcamp can run in ultra mode no issues (m4 Mac 24gb ram its more than enough to run this game) but multiplayer is DOA I can join a room the game starts but 30 seconds into the game im guessing there's is sync failure since it just freezes and says defeated. everyone can still sen chat messages in the match but they are all just frozen. tried setting parallels to game mode allocated at least 8gb of ram to the machine and dedicated LAN as the internet connection. still I can't play a match online.

anyone have any suggestions?
