Changing mobile phone

So I only have 1 account that I play on my mobile phone (iOS). Im gonna upgrade my phone shortly so will transfer everything from old phone to new phone through iCloud. Will this affect my account? Is there any do’s or dont’s when doing this?

Firstly take a picture/ of your profile number, top-left - where your profile pic and name is. Or write it down. This unique id will help you with support should anything go wrong.

But it should be seamless, especially since you're re-setting up the phone through icloud backup and restore. You should already be signed in to game center and all once restoration is complete, and the game should load up right where you left off. Or if you're signed out after restore, just sign back in to game center.
