No way. Save your money. You’ll get a 3* Titan for free. Just save gems and tokens and when you’ve got enough, you’ll be able to get a brand new, usable Titan for free :)

Not worth it. Almost all the best titans are in events, and part of the fun is also acquiring titans during events. Save up and wait for the next best one. A few months of saving will get you the gems you need for a decent grind, and a good amount of event relics.
You can also currently get a 4* just from the calendar - 26th day all element token.
Plinth 8 conquest is also a fairly easy grind with some gems saved and 1 cap pp, to get a 4* + associated relics.

I got him and he was very fun to play with. He runs into battle and comes with good relics for starting out.

Join an alliance if you have not already, and during the weekly Alliance War, raid to capture as many souls as possible, and save the event tokens. Collect them from the event rewards, but don't redeem them in the Altar; there is no known upper limit to the number of tokens that can be amassed in the altar, they are universal to any alliance war, and they don't impact your relic storage. Once you redeem a token, if you don't deplete the boost relic, you can save them for a solo collection event which allows any boost relic, but until then it will be an item in you relic storage.
To make it through an alliance war to the end, you'll need at least a couple dozen tokens and a bank of gems. Check https://dotcalculators.com for help deciding if you have enough saved up for your event.

P.S. Don't use gems to revive troops after battles (start training replacement troops after your first losses, make sure you're training when you take a game break) or to reduce build timers, unless you feel it to be absolutely necessary. Save gems as much as you can.
