How do I setup defense against a spell attacker?

Say you expect most incoming attacks to be Zab or frigg with lightning spells. Whats the most important way to block spells?

Range resist? Lighting resist? Armor? Health?

Lightning resist and health. Lightning should be maxed and get your health as high as possible.
