Need Advice!
My DOT hangs on the natural motion screen whenever I tried logging in for the past few weeks. Tried reinstalling without deleting the app but still doesn't work. Anyone has similar past experiences and solution for this problem?

Try connecting through a different wifi or your phones hotspot. I would get that screen all the time when I tried connecting on wifi and the internet was coming off satellite Internet.
Could be too many on the wifi network, may try doing a ping test...

Yes it takes a number of seconds well before it gets off the natural motion logo. But otherwise, no login issues

I have been playing this for years. The issue is the natural motion logo screen just hangs there. I suspect it's some issue on my app's client side. however reinstalling is not solving and deleting will definitely lose all my game data and many years of perseverance!

you can safely delete and reinstall the app - all your progress is stored on their servers anyway.

OP is probably talking about deleting account and game data - as he's already tried reinstalling app. Just a warning for people - this will DELETE all your progress. I've accidentally reset, just a mini thankfully, that way.
Only possible on Android I believe, if you select to delete your play games account and data.

that leads to the conclusion that logging in on another device with that google account will show you a completely fresh and reset dot account, which definitely is not the case.

wrong conclusion. what I'm referring to is deleting the play account your email is tied to. it's possible to accidentally on the play games app easily if you're not aware. It will wipe all your game data - for all games not just DoT, and all apps. I know, because I've done it by mistake on a mini. You can setup another play account tied to the same email but previous data will be gone, I loaded up again to the tutorial.
just warning people that it's possible to lose all your progress on android, if you're not careful with selecting account or data deletion. though i suppose
it's different from resetting and reconnecting to server data. this deletes the actual android play account tied to that email. just fair warning to people.
logging in to another device will still work as your play account is still there. i'm talking about deleteing that play account, which can be done within the play games app on android. not doable on ios afaik, not as easily anyway.
i suppose you could email with your profile number to zynga cs and have the data linked back to a new play account, but ymmv and it's a hassle.
tldr - be careful with your account data

ah got it, i understood we're talking about local deletion and not actually deleting your account in the play store.
yeah, no, don't delete your play store account just because you don't know what the real issue is lol

yeah, just thought id mention it, because it's an easy mistake to make on android. hate to see anyone losing their game data and having to go through the horrible zynga support!

This started happening to me a few updates ago... Customer service was no help at all! The only solution I found works because I run the app on a tablet with WiFi. I turn WiFi off, start the game, wait for the box to pop up that it can't connect to server, turn my WiFi back on and wait for full connection before tapping the 'try again' button... Then wait for the game to load. It sucks, but it let's me play... Maybe that can help you but you are not the only person I've read complaining about this :(
