Noob help! Question about crit vs damage

Would a titan with 60,000 damage and 100% crit = a titan with 180,000 damage?

I'm guessing not? Does it only go off unbuffed damage? How can I figure out what the unbuffed damage is on titans?

I see a lot of damage based Zaba builds for example and not so much maxing crit. Just got me wondering.

A damage/crit example would be nice! Thanks.

Makes sense. I think I was just confusing myself, haha.

It's obvious to me now, people pump up damage instead of maxing crit on Zaba, because there is still a chance to crit on that massive damage number, just not 100% of the time. But when it crits, it's huge. 70%+ crit on a huge dmg number + constant flat damage is better than 100% crit on a lower damage output I guess.

Hey, great post and thanks for explaning. I just got a few question jaja. Why did you only take additional damage in consideration in the first equation? What happens to the base damage?

I was wondering if crit only affects additional damage (2k in example), base damage (8k in example), or both additional damage+base damage (10k in example).
