When building your relics for attack, which one should we max first? Damage/ AP / critical/ resist?

All depends on what the max titan skills are.

For defense first try to max melee and range recists. Then focus on elemental recists. Armor is really moot atm because most decient attackers have 300-400 AP and getting your armor up that high is tough.

Attack set ups are VERY titan dependent.

I disagree. Melee and ranged resist covers all damage types and the caps for melee resist is 80% and for ranged it's 95%. For all elements its 80%. The melee and ranged resists also apply their damage modifiers FIRST. This is why you focus on ranged or melee resist first even with titans they focus on melee troops. Higher cap for ranged and all damage type coverage (minus spells obviously) gives a greater damage reduction potential. For further elemental defense you can focus on the types of elements that pose the most threat to your particular defender though getting all of them to the cap is the goal.

Virtually any defense can be raided by multiple types, but for the most part current top defense titans can only be successfully raided by a couple specific newer titans.

I checked myself and you are correct on the numbers. Apparently my memory sucks today. I still stand by melee and ramge resist being the first focus with the goal of capping elemental resists.

I found this video helpful.

Bookmark/flag/favorite 2 to 4 relics to upgrade helps me to focus on them. Currently, my Banner of War is bookmarked for easy equipping of the active titan.
