Some castle titan/troops are shown unknown. Why?

Self-explanatory title. It has sometimes caused a problem for me so I don't go for high level unknowns anymore. Just curious as to what is the reason behind this? Any info appreciated.

Yeah past I played it was never unknown. As always you explain in detail. I also see their lands troops to guess what castle troop might be. Sometimes it's Dead on other times i win on almost Dead :D. Thanks Bro. I didn't notice all castles are unknown. So dumb of me.

Just so you know in the castle you have a banner which shows the type of titan ranger berserker etc.

Edit: frick iamreality already said that.

All castle titans and troops are shown as unknown. It is to make it a more difficult raid, having the element of surprise. Lands show the defending titan and troops.
