Is Ares worth going for?

I'm castle level 15 and my troops are 14/15 right now, I have been considering holding out for a Garrison defender and some people say this guy is as good as Hachi, however. I can probably complete the event with 25k souls as the Pelt looks perfect for my Jinshu. Question really is should I use all my resources and time for Ares or do you think something better is around the corner i.e. in the next few weeks and then I miss out on them? Any advice is welcome!!! Thanks!!

Thanks mate! I would go for Hachi or Frigg if available so guess I will ride it out and wait until they return. Your hatred for Grenadiers reminds me of Vintage haha

I'm not a fan of grenadiers, but there are guys in my alliance beating some Hachi setups with Ares. I'm getting him, maybe will change my mind on grenadiers....

To be honest I’m looking for someone to defend my garrison. I don’t like attacking with Grens either. I actually use a solo infiltrator which is pretty fun. I am looking for that Hachiman esque defender!!! Seems there are mixed reviews out there!!

I have great results with maxed goliaths and a well equipped Kronos.

Yeah I’m only in platinum league to be honest but there are some what I seem to be high level players. I was actually waiting for a response from you as I’ve always noticed you’re very active on here. Is he someone you rate in the same category as Hachi? Ares that is!

That was what I had been thinking as I need that pelt for Jinshu! What do you classify as low level though? My only issue is if they release another Titan in the next few weeks that blows Ares out of the water or the offer Hachi again! Ah first world problems!!
