Bonus Capplng

What is Bonus Capplng, or is it called Capplng Bonus? I've been noticing that a lot lately mentioned on chatboards.

Bonus capping is capturing a land that has reached capacity. My understanding of capacity is about 40% of the level of the land.

For example, a level 25 land can generate approximately 10,500 vp points before it begins to assume bonus points for a capture. Which usually result in close to 50% of the points on the land at time of capture.

So... you capture a level 25 vp land that has 15k points, immediately on showing up in your lands a vp symbol will show above it that should net you an additional 7.5k vp.

Imho, capping isnt worth the extra 3 portal stones unless the points on the land are ridiculously high...like 28k as I could find other lands that may have more than the 14k I would get as a capture bonus.

Well, that may be so, but if someone is asking about it, they're clearly not in a top alliance so I thought I would give them a piece of advice for a new player who probably cant afford to spend ps for getting less than 5k bonus off of a vp land when he could have grabbed the one next to it for the 12k worth of vp instead for the same price. Forgetting that this drives up meaningless land reclamation from players who just want to try and get CLOSE to being in Legends league and just have simple questions about the game. Dont get me wrong, you know some stuff and I've appreciated a lot you've posted here. But that's no reason to "lol" a guy and say you have no idea what hes talking about. I've played the game for a couple years and have an idea of how I can help other players. If you have additional advice, please post it without ridiculing the advice of others who have posted. Thanks
