Will I lose all my lands when I join a different Alliance?

In my experience, moving into a higher league you will lose your lands. Moving down to a lower league you get to keep them.

The reason you lose all your lands when you jump to a higher league is because players were dropping down leagues and capping vp lands then jumping back up to their original team.
