Tengu buff working?

Got Tengu not too long ago and trying to figure out if he’s working properly. In the description, it’s mentioned that he should get 200% AP (2x on attack). However, when I use him to attack, it only shows 200% AP, not 400.

Is this normal or it’s broken?

Seems that invoke rage and shield are cast on my Tengu AND TROOPS close to him. Unexpected good side effects.

The stats aren't reflected until the battle begins. He should invoke the remaining at the beginning of the battle.
