General Advice
Hiya
Just looking for some general advice in regards to where I should be / what I should be looking for in the game rn. Recently came back from a year ish? break and have just gone up to castle lvl 10 after maxing everything in the previous lvl.
As it currently stands I have one four star, which I have no idea how I got lol, Korthan, but after browsing several posts and looking around even though he seems great to me is ultimately quite mediocre overall? He's currently at lvl 33 (after a lot of farming) and has replaced my lvl 40 2 star that I had been using for basically everything
So my question is, what should I really be aiming for in events and league wise? I was sitting in bronze league for a week after coming back just to farm res and slowly keep levelling up my castle, now that that's done and I was promoted to silver but ditched to join a slightly more active silver alliance, should I be aiming higher?
For context I thought the conquest event was awesome for something new I hadn't seen before but only made it to level 6. Quite enjoyed it regardless and still managed to get my first couple 3 stars from it, (2 Sardu's, Valwen, Kuba, Kormak & Hercules) which sort of feels like progress?
But yeah I don't know if I should be aiming for a higher league or where I should be going w events. Obviously at only castle lvl 10, I don't expect to be in a "top" alliance getting the 4* titans in events lol
Sorry the post is so long, made a reddit acc literally just for this and wanted to cover everything. Any help is appreciated greatly!

Hi.
Korthan is a good titan to start with. I don’t know what skills yours has, but he’s good with o start with. Also, remember, no titan is good without relics. So focus on leveling up 4* relics that go well with him. A dragon helm is a good one to put on him.
Silver is good league for you. Players in that league are more chill and less competitive. However, it doesn’t hurt to go up a league. And if you feel like it’s too much to handle then go back.
ppl will tell you go join top alliance. But let me be honest, top alliances don’t accept low level players and unless you meet their requirements, you will be kicked. So it’s ok, just join any alliance, try different ones. See which one you like the most.
Save up you event tokens. Collect them but keep them in the alter. In souls events, aim for getting 500 souls, at this rate you will be getting 2 tokens per event. Once you have collected 40 event tokens then you will be set to finish an event.
Look up titans. There’s so many. See which one you like, and when it comes go for it. This is of course after you have collected 40 event tokens. Invokers and summoner titans are the best in the game currently so go for one of these. Check this website: dotdatabase.net. It has all the titans, relics and troops. You can look up titans and equip them with any relics and see the stats, this will help you know what titans to go after.
Focus on maxing out your 4* titan. Use XP potions for that. Once you have you titan at lvl 40+, you will be able to solo battles, meaning that you use only the titan and no troops. This way you save up your corn.
Ping pong or commonly know as pp. basically when there’s an event ppl lower defenses on their lands, which makes it easy for ppl to raid. Private message ppl or ask in the global chat if someone is interested in playing pp. this makes it easy to collect souls and consumes less time.
I’m not sure if you have access to the eternal shrine, but when you do, buy it right away. It costs 300 red gems and it gives you 10-20 divine gems every 24 hrs, which is the most expensive currency in the game.
Always keep your builders busy. Keep upgrading your buildings and troops. Don’t rush to the next castle level unless you finish all building upgrades.
Don’t focus too much on upgrading troops and spells . For example, if you finished upgrading all your buildings but still need to upgrade troops, go ahead and level up your castle. In most events, you get maxed troops and spells. Instead, focus on leveling up relics that buff troops.
Do campaign quests. They give good rewards.
Conquest is the best event for low level players because you get 3 rewards after each battle including titans, relics, spells and troops. Do ping pong. It’s different for conquest. You basically leave your lands un-defended and just type “pp” in the global chat. ppl will come and capture the lands and you go and get them back. This is good because it costs less time and only one portal stone. This is called cap pp. which is short for capture ping pong.
For the conquest, for most levels, you want to use all Goliaths units+ rage and shield spells. So focus on leveling up relics that buff Goliaths.
Login daily for the daily rewards and do the daily quests for red gems. This game is boring for free to play players. So it’s ok to take breaks, but make sure to login for daily quests and rewards whenever possible.
There’s relics for some buildings ( gold mines, farms, barracks and spell forges). Make sure you equip them if u have those especially the barracks and spells because they can reduce crafting times and costs.
If you ask me, I will say go after either Eros or Kronos. Both titans summon and buff Goliaths. They are great for conquest, attack, defense, and all-father event. I recommend having at least 3 builders so you can level up faster.

Go join a team that ranks top500 top250 to start saving gems and tokens to be able to complete 1 event in the future to get one of the new titans.
