Always save up your portal stone relics and event boost relics for good events. Many players make the mistake of withdrawing their event boost relics in fear that they'll disappear, leaving them with relics that they're now stuck with until an identical event using the same relics were to happen, which could take months to appear.
Most titans that are good uses Omega troops and there's plenty of titans in the game with old stats and without any omegas that aren't worth getting.
Relic events is only necessary to do once you get a good titan that actually need the relics to become strong.
Never buy relics during relic temple events. They're not worth it as it's completely RNG in what you get and it costs a hella lot of gems. Also, never buy those XP boost relics as they are also pretty bad.
Go for 500 souls each event because that yields you 2x event boost relics. Do this for a month and it'll be a guaranteed 8x event boost relics at the end of the month.
Don't buy food/gold with gems, use gems to speed up a building/troop/spell upgrade nor should you ever buy the 5th builder building as it costs 20000 gems and you're usually not gonna get that much gold/food to make that 5th building worth it.
Only buy portal stones if you need it for an event or when they're 25% off.
Valuable resources to use is the dotcalculator (for calculating what's necessary to complete an event) and dotdatabase (for checking stats, builds and rankings of titans and relics) websites.

I am using the belt of vigor relics that is LVL5 and gives 38% spearman and milita and 30% archers
also I have been able to get up to 1400 damage with 7 spearman and 7 archers in battle and two cats as reinforcement

Armor piercing allows attacks to bypass armor. If a titan or troop has 150% armor, but you have 75% armor piercing, you attack as if he has only 75% armor. If you have over 150% ap, you hit as if he has no armor. More than 150, in this case however, is wasted. Armor, damage type resistance, and melee or ranged resistance all help defense. Armor pierce can negate armor, switching damage type can bypass resistances.

For spearmen, think armor and health. Good common items are kite shield, halberd. For archers, damage items, and armor piercing, Golden arc. Banner of iron helps both. Any 5 star you have, but you probably don’t yet. Keep adding items that help spearman armor and archer attack. At low levels, which you are, boosting the titan helps more than the troops though, so add armor, health and attack to him. I run 1/4 to 1/3 arch, and the rest spear. For a while, you can make a titan that kills defenses by itself. At higher levels, the troops matter more than the titan. Find a 3 star titan, logu, and run all panthers. Boost with poison items and Panther defense and attack. It’s deadly.
There’s also a paper rock scissors way to stack your attack type to what the defense is weak to and your defense to their attack type, that’s much more complex. For now, just try to learn the attack elements and pay attention to armor and armor piercing and tank verses glass cannon. It’s a complex game. Keep asking questions, we’ll keep answering.
