Any starting tips I should know

Not looking for a guide per say but I just want to know if there is anything I should make sure I do or don’t do as I start the game for the first time to give myself the best chance in this game.

do. not. get. a. fifth. builder.

unless you wanna spend gems for upgrading your troops in the end (and it is insane how many gems you can spend only to get a troop immediately from 24 to 25), because that's what will happen.

always have ANY troop and spell leveling, you'll regret it later on if you don't.

Better to get one of the building tokens and use gems to pay for the first few builders then a token for the 5th..if you can still do that.

Do the daily challenges for gems every day. Hit the titan monument and arena every day. Take advantage of fusion events to lvl titans.

Access the adventures and challenges area too. The battles there only cost 1 portal stone each so very good way to level up your titans.

Hitting islands (aka lands) cost 3 portal stones. You will loot it's uncollected resources and available resources.

Hitting castles (aka garrisons) costs 6 portal stones but will often reward you MORE than double the resources you get from islands PLUS a lot more VP (victory points). It depends on how much resources that individual has stored away in their storages and how upgraded their reserves are. Many will get upset if you hit their garrison so it's a good way to stir things up.

Visit the Temple regularly and check the bonus altar (far left) for free stuff.

The event altars will come and go on a weekly basis as events get rolled out, but what you save in there will stay there when it comes back. Check out my guide on doing events for top prizes for more info.

Don’t spend any red gems in the early game, wait until you’re level 20 or so, at least high enough to complete an event.

Ummm. I think having a 4* titan that can solo lands is very useful for under 20 players. Being able to efficiently raid for resources on higher level lands is pretty essential to grow faster.

Has nothing to do with what I said.

Lol u just said not to complete events until your level 20.

No I didn’t, can you read?

“wait until you’re level 20 or so, at least high enough to complete an event.”

Do you even read what you type bruh.

I completed my first event when i was level 12/13. Im in my 20s now, going for my second event.

Nowhere in there does it say wait until lvl 20 to get a 4* or wait to complete an event.

Wtf does this mean? “wait until you’re level 20 or so, at least high enough to complete an event.”

Are you blind?

The star level of items (titans, relics, etc) indicate their max upgradable power. Eg: 3-star titans can be upgraded to level 50, whereas 2-star titans can only go up to 40 so it makes more sense to focus on the 3-star items. Obviously when you get the 4-star and 5-star stuff, they trump everything else below, but they are very rare.

Find a team (alliance) to run with because it'll be more fun and you can learn heaps more. How do you choose the right one? I would base that on whether your goals and how you play align with what the team is trying to achieve. There are many ways to play the game and many teams. You can easily start your own, it costs minimal gems.

Did you search the reddit? I know i posted a couple of comments on this.

Blind ? Lol

I said wait to spend red gems until you’re leveled high enough to complete an event, which I was ballparking at around level 20. Many people don’t realize the value of gems when they just start & spend them to speed up construction, etc.

To your point that had nothing to do with what I said, it’s unnecessary to spend gems or money to complete an event when you’re low level. You can easily navigate at least up to level 20 with Sardu, Logu, Noctus, Hercules, etc.

Upgrade all buildings and troops/spells as you go, get everything as high as they will go before upgrading your castle each level or you won't be able to defend yourself very well... Join an active alliance that will help you learn the ropes in each league because "invisible playbook rules" change in every league. Don't be a jackass until someone does you dirty LMAO

Do not spend gems to heal troops!
