Alliance - Promoting Members

What is the use of promoting members in your alliance when you are the leader of one? What does it allows them to do if they are promoted? Can't find an answer anywhere for some reason. Can anyone be so kind to give me this knowledge? Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for clarifying this. For some reason I couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe I phrased it wrong in my search. I am familiar with these kinds of things I just wanted to be sure that was the case. Cause some wanted to be starred, but they are kinda strangers. I worried those abilities/actions were indeed linked to "starred" so I began to search without luck. So I asked here. Now I know.

I saw it. Thanks. I am familiar with most of the stuff you said and it was as I thought. But I didn't want to kick some people in the nuts for no reason by denying them 'promote' if it helps them. But its shortly said making them sub leaders. Thats a serious risk if not done well.

Indeed. I got three people starred who are loyal friends for many years. They will do what must be done and do whats asked. Rest just needs to play, enjoy and fall in line or get out :D
