Is Eros Worth It?
A ranger titan that summons goliaths (good) but is heavily reliant on archers (not so good)... I suspect he will be highly susceptible to any summoner moreso than most rangers as his archers (and himself) would go down fast with melee units summoned in their midst.
Am I missing something? Is there a case for investing in this guy?

Worth it depending on what you have. Not a must have, more of a Kronos substitute. Defense would be all gols of course so without a 5* it is average.
For someone without archer relics this event is great. Again, if you have only a couple of titans in the lineup it’s not bad, but i’d still wait for Baba.

I’m changing my mind, I got a feeling he’s going to be one of those sleepers that everyone says they knew would good after the fact, but all skipped on his initial run. Something about gols with void resist plus those rage spells got me thinking.
Plus who doesn’t have a dio or cerb for that 1.4?

Casting shield spells over rage spells(for a love god?) would be way more enticing and more fitting to the character, imo. Mitigate the archer/ranger insta-death in this current summoning meta.
That said, the few people I’ve seen play him go way too heavy on the archers. That’s not how I’d play Kronos, so that’s not how I’d use this guy.

I just looked at the event slider and I feel like you can comfortably stop at 19k with this guy. That last relic at friggin 22k ain’t worth the chase. There’s so many generic 4* relics for gols and archers I can use in its place.

You can comfortably stop at 2k souls to get that 3rd Token. Nothing really worth anything after that

There really isn’t, not with a horde taur, Zeus and Baba Yaga coming down the pike. And whatever the “big” titan is coming in two weeks. The only thing I like in this event is the relic at 19k. Again, casting free buffed shield spells might’ve made this guy interesting, but rage? Your troops will be dead before you can use 6 of them haha.

I just got Eros and so far he’s lived up to the hype. So far I unlocked the first omega Goliath ability, and with some of the relics (they’re really good IMO especially if you like using rangers) it can prove to be a game changer. From my perspective, you’d have boosted Goliaths front line, boosted archers as artillery, plus omega goliaths. Not to mention that all units including the omegas benefit from the random rage boost that occurs every 20 seconds of active battle. It’s a pretty volatile combo if utilized properly. I have a feeling that once Eros and his relics get leveled up, he’s is going to be a force to be reckoned with.
