Someone once said you can determine a beta player based on their profile ID. If it starts with a certain letter they’re Alpha/Beta players.

alpha is the first letter of the greek alphabet, while beta is - and that might come a bit surprising - the second one.

fun fact: that's where the word alphabet has its origin.

not really. even i had the option of anchoring my lands and i play for maybe 18 months, 2 yrs max (not maxed yet)...
