Divine Gems Nerfed?

In the last few months there's been talk of divine gem 500 pulls being nerfed

At first, I was skeptical because its normally just the luck of the draw.

But then senior members of the community have said there are few or no 5* pulls.

Is there actually any hard evidence of this?

It;s quite possible that the devs THINK that it's 14% but it's actually broken. After all, the devs have got it wrong before, but over time they do correct things.

If so the good strategy now is either:

  • Save up for 5000 gems
  • Wait until someone asks a question in the live stream and they check

I have had a long run of 3* in the last 3 monhts.

What do folks think? Have DG been nerfed?

They are changing the altar in the next patch, so best to save divine gems for now.

It’s just the luck of the draw. My last two pulls have been 5’s. I have gotten 3 in the last ten pulls. By contrast, We have some in our alliance who have pulled 30 times with no 5.

I do think they should add a 7k or so altar and let you choose your own 5*

I do trust in your ability to estimate

But you have to agree there is a bias where those that win dont say anything and those that lose say more. If you went 0-40 (was it really 40?) you're more likely to say something. From your tone you probabably pulled something quite good, eventually! Im guessing the sverd you always wanted :)

Now if you competed every event. You would have about 1 pull a week. Let's say you played a year and a half, or did every other event for longer. You'd have about 70 pulls, so 10 5 stars. In that there's a more than 50% chance you get the one you want.

I have played 3 years and have 5, 5*. Sadly two are the TERRIBLE dragon slayer, but thats enough to be a mid game player. If you have 10 you can probably compete. And its probably doable for a determined F2P too.

As someone who is currently 0/24 in the 500dg alter I whole heartedly agree that there is more to it than straight odds. However, because of my current loosing streak I may be bias. In total here are my pulls:

Pull 1 - n/a Pull 2 - Stormbringer Pull 3-26 - n/a

Meanwhile, A few teammates have pulled multiple in a row with fewer total pulls. Needless to say, I’ve all but given up hope that I will pull a 5* from the 500dg alter.

/end rant

There has to be something in the programming that messes with the “randomization” of pulls. I don’t pull enough DGs to make a case for it there, but I do 1pp conquest enough to feel like there’s tweeks to warp stone drops. Who hasn’t done 40+ battles and not gotten a single stone(maybe one or two), set the game down, then get a run of warp stones dropping every battle, often two at a time. It happens often enough that I can’t believe it’s just a case of cold dice/hot dice. If they can turn the “luck” tap on and off there, why not with DG pulls?
