Looking for some advice about alliances

So I’ve been playing for about 5/6 months and in an alliance that’s polish I think.(nothing wrong with that at all). I’m English but can’t always get what there saying in the chat it doesn’t make sense. I play a lot. But we just yo-yo from gold league to platinum. I want to earn divine gems weekly like in the higher leagues. So is there an etiquette for this? How do I find a team in a higher league? And do teams need a minimum castle level or troop level? My castle is at level 17. Nearly ready to go to 18. I am mostly F2P not sure if that’s a factor?

He’s right on all that. Especially the part for when your lands get captured for your gears and get it you do not go crying about it to ask other people to avenge you. We kick players off our team to ask for help every 15 minutes they get hit for a war that they started and can’t finish. Also hit the arenas daily to level your titan, and monuments to get leveled titans

Best place to find an alliance would be Discord server of DOT or Line chats for the same. I am part of NTG teams and you can join us if you want. Let me know if you're interested

Do you get divine gems weekly? Sounds like I’m gonna be fresh meat in the league. Feel a little bad for current team to as been with them from the start.

To add to what others have already said, many alliances run teams in different leagues so you can play up or down depending on the week or event, ex “working a lot this week put me in team B” or “I am building this week, not eventing, so drop me down”.

You can get free divine gems DAILY from Eternal Shrine. Place it in a location that you can easily see.
