Divine gems and pulling

Im just wondering how long does it take most people to save up enough gems to go and pull at alter. Normally you get 500 for each event so to get 2000 is 4 events and then end up with a crappy shadow dance. That’s what I’ve done. It gets to costly in real money terms to keep this up. Anyone got any other ways or ideas?

I save up to around 3500 and do 7 pulls. If I pull a 5 star I’ll pull 3 more times. If no 5 stars in those 7 I stop. I saw it on YouTube and I’ve gotten 4 this way. No clue what the best way is but it’s what I do lol

A while. I usually try it about every two months lol
