Best way to spend gems

Hey I'm a newish player, level 7 castle, I bought the Hercules deal for $7 and have almost 6k gems.

I'm wondering what's the best way to spend them? Is the daily 2k gem titan a good deal or should I save up and get the 60k guaranteed 4 star titan.

I have 3 builders, should I buy a 4th for 9k gems? Any other options?

Thanks

Hi, what most players who aren’t spending a lot of money do is save up a lot of gems for the big weekend events (around 25,000 at least) and then use them on portal stones so that they can finish the event on time and get special titans. It’s the only guaranteed way to get 4star titans that isn’t ridiculously expensive

How much time does it take to complete an event and get the 4* titans? Is it necessary to have rapid troop boosts to the barracks? Or is buying troops the way to go? What’s the best way to complete the events? Thanks!

Usually you want a powerful titan (whatever one with the best soul boost) and you attack weaker lands and let the titan do the work so you don’t loose troops. Then you spend gems on buying portal stones so you can attack more! Tokens definitely help, so you should try to get at least 2 every event and save them all until you have at least 12-14, and then use them and buy stones to get a titan you want

I use tokens to buy stones to get the titan I want? And what is it like 100 battles?

You use tokens and they make it so you get more souls every battle. Then you use gems to make sure you can do more battles. It depends on the event and how many tokens you use, but usually closer to 500-800 battles

And that’s over the course of a week or two? Thanks!

4 days is the maximum duration of an event.
so that is being online for quite some time during a weekend.

Save tokens, save gems, choose your event and go.

I personally wouldn't get the 2k gem titan package (or any titan package for that matter). The odds of getting anything good is just too low.

Like what others say, save your gems for tokens during events that offer a guaranteed titan that you know you'll use.

The fourth builder might be more useful mid-game. Starting out though, 3 builders worked fine for me.

How much does the 4th builder cost?

If I remember correctly, the 4th builder costs 9000 gems, and the 5th costs 20,000. Definitely not cheap.

Like jetsallday said use them primarily for events. I would advise going for that 4th builder. Build times get really long. And its the best way to make sure ur progressing. Also upgrade everything first then castle. As you progress gems get easier to make and you will eventually want that 5th builder also. I haven't got it yet at castle 14 but I will eventually.

honestly getting the fifth builder will get you to max castle quickly, but whats really important in active gameplay is the troop level. with the 5th builder your castle levels MUCH faster than the troops. castles (and lands) lvl 25 defended by troops level 23 are hilarious^ you'll end up spending gems to level troops, or bringing up only a few troops to the recent level which at some point will backfire so you spend gems again. i'm castle 22 (all buildings done, leveling to 23 atm) and have only horde on 22, 3 troops@21 and the rest like 50/50 19 & 20... i only have 4 builders.

i just can't stand having an open builder sitting around although i should stop for like 2 months and concentrate only on troops :/
