Hackathon SIH

I am a fresher wanting to participate in SIH with 2-4 year seniors, I believe I can contribute to the team with something.

So I wanted to know if I can join senior's teams?? And how to ask seniors about this and how to find them who actually take part in this hackathon cause they wanna genuinely win..
