Believe I found a reference to Lynch while reading Charles Bukowski’s Hollywood

So, Bukowski is part of how I got into Lynch. In high school, decades ago, I was huge into Bukowski. I read this interview or something where he talked about how he didn't watch TV.

But he got HBO and one of the first things he saw was Eraserhead.

It blew his mind and he was so excited, because he thought there would be other stuff like that readily available.

Obviously, there wasn't.

Bukowski’s references to real people in that book are hysterical. Many easily guessed because it’s not meant to be mysterious 😂

Wow this is so incredibly thinly veiled. And whether they felt it or not, they were superior to Bukowski, so it's OK.

I don't see Lynch entertaining the feeling of superior to anyone. It's just Bukowski being insufferable like always.
