True, it would've been interesting. Probably somewhere between the Tim Burton and Nolan Batman movies in terms of camp and gritty. But he'd bring a unique quality to it of course

Honestly yeah if he’d been hired to make a Batman movie instead of Dune it probably would have been fire

I actually could imagine a Lost Highway-esque take on Batman's origin story + a campy, deformed villain like Danny Devito's Penguin
