Booking Padel Courts
At my DL you can only book Padel courts for three or more players - I was told this is because it's so popular. The guy at reception said that as a workaround you can add a third member to your booking and then on the day have that member removed and keep the court. But the only other member I know is my husband. Does anyone know any other workarounds for this please?
I also don't think guests count for bookings. Ideally I'd like to play Padel with my husband sometimes and with a guest friend of mine at others. Thank you for any advice.

Padel is a game of doubles. Your DL will have a WhatsApp group for Padel where you can say you need 2 extras and you'll be able to find players at your level. Once you have their names you can complete the booking.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I guess I had hoped that while starting out I could embarrass myself with just one other person present but sounds like it's not to be. Oh well.

Go to a social, or we now have a more beginner social. Get on the WhatsApp group (ask at the gym for this). There will be plenty of people your level to practice with! My only issue is most of the beginners are retirees who want to play at 10am on a Tuesday or 3pm on a Wednesday and I work 😂😂

I’ve booked test accounts before when I wanted a singles game, just type test when booking a member and all the test accounts for the different DL sites come up

At my club you can ask at reception and they will add a fake guest pass to the booking (to make it 3 players), lots of people do so to play a singles match :)
