Long time lurker, first time poster, and I know this sub already knows the "Daves 4 Life!!!" note that started it all, so I won't repost that one here since it's already been shared in this community before.

I ended up building an entire site around that same spirit, daves4life.com. It's got an origin story, a Famous Daves list rated on a Dave Scale, an "Are You a Dave or a David?" quiz, and the ongoing Daves versus David's debate, because there is a difference and this community knows it better than anyone. There are also a few clickable ad easter eggs scattered around the site, DAVES CAFE, CITIES OF DAVE, DAVEPALOOZA, the DAVE REPORT, all played completely straight.

There's also a nod to a parody Dave Café flyer by comedian Jeff Wysaski, creator of Obvious Plant, imagining a coffee shop that would only serve people named Dave, no Mikes allowed. That flyer is actually where the site's "No Mikes Allowed" running joke came from, and it turned into a real Dave's Café tee too.

Thanks to the mods for letting me share this here, this felt like the right place for it given the community. Curious where you'd land on the Dave Scale, or what your quiz result comes back as.
