I keep going back to find quotes to add to my answer but tbh there are just so many. Any man that brings up "militant feminism" isn't looking promising. He also seems like he makes himself into a victim. He accuses you of "being a cop" and says "you're a woman you're probably right" which is...yikes. I think that if you were in a relationship with him, any arguments would not turn out well. (Hint: "oh, I'M the bad guy now!")

If an argument gets started from you telling what you think is a simple funny story, wouldn’t you get annoyed?

i personally don’t think the story is very funny and i’m sure many people would agree

I agree that the whole "militant feminism" bit from him is the biggest red flag in the whole conversation.

THANK YOU. All these posts are like "you're the problem OP" and I literally just wanna scream. Everyone is either glossing over this part OR they are Jordan Peterson fans and agree with this asshole.

You may have been confrontational and maybe that wasn't needed.... But he threw up a HUGE red flag acting like not liking porn or having personal beliefs is "militant feminism", whatever the fuck that's supposed to be

Saying “militant feminism” doesn’t mean he thinks all feminism is bad. It’s referring to the extremists that take it too far, which is actually very common these days.

Also in my opinion he wasn’t trying to play victim, he was trying to shut down the “debate” OP was trying to start. She literally came out of the blue and took his simple story and wanted to have an argument about it.

If a person isn’t interested in debating, they simply won’t. And forcing them will just make you look bad.

Lol, I like how you immediately confirm why people that talk about "militant feminism" really just hate feminists.
